Many times we are asked, "Do you buy gold?" The answer to that question is, "I'm sorry, we don't."
We are not in compliance with city ordinances that permit us to buy gold from the public. We do however work trades. For example, you can trade in a ring or necklace and our jeweler will give you a melt-value price for your item; you can then put that money toward the purchase of another piece of jewelry or a repair on a piece you already own. If your jewelry has some stones in it and it is in good repair, your best option would be to sell the piece on E-bay as you will not get any money from a pawn shop, or from us, for the value of the stone. if the item is not in good repair, you are probably better off trading it in for scrap value.
We do, however, trade diamonds! For example, if you have a pair of 1/4 carat diamond studs and would like a pair of 1 carat diamond studs, we will trade in the diamonds you do have and give you the value of the diamonds to go towards another pair of studs of your choice. Just stop by with your earrings and we will see what we can work out for you.
